doyou.ca is operated by MadMax Média Group from Sainte-Martine, Québec, Canada. We respect your privacy and collect the minimum amount of data necessary to run a news website.
What we collect
- Server logs: standard web-server access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp). Retained 30 days for security and debugging, then deleted.
- Newsletter signups: only your email address, only if you submit it. Stored on our own servers, never sold or shared. Unsubscribe in one click from any email.
- No cookies for tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracker. A theme-preference cookie (
theme=lightortheme=dark) may be set locally if you toggle dark mode — it never leaves your browser.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers.
- No behavioural profiling.
- No third-party analytics.
- No data brokers.
